January 12

My watchers will always protect you and prepare the way for your future.

Scripture Reading: Proverbs 2:8

"He keeps the paths of judgment, and preserves the way of his saints." (Proverb 2:8)

I constantly set "watchers" (Daniel 4:13, 17) to observe your pathway. You are not traveling a path that is unknown to Me.

I guard and protect the pathway on which you journey today and I "check out" your tomorrow's pathway even before you awaken in the morning.

Nothing can happen to you which I have not permitted. Even your tragedies and pains and sorrows and disappointments are all permitted by Me out of My Love for you and the plan I have for those whom you will influence in your lifetime on earth.

You are being moulded into My likeness and My image through the sufferings I permit to come into your life. Nothing happens by accident. Everything has a purpose. As long as you walk in the pathway of wise judgment, you shall know the covering of My wings over you.

Behold, I guard the way of all My saints because I know how the enemy would like to destroy them as they venture out on their journey of life. And I order my unseen "watchers" to protect you in all your ways.

I have put a hedge on both sides of your path, and your enemy cannot get through the hedge. The "watchers" are your guardian angels who never for a moment stop guarding you and the pathway where your feet must tread.

Your pathway will never fail to be protected from serpents and brute beast.

But it is only you, yourself, who can light up the pathway whereon you tread, and you must do this by reading and memorizing My Word.

David understood this truth. That is why he said, "Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path" (Psalms 119:105). David could say that because he spent much time in meditating on the Holy Scriptures (Psalm 63:6; 77:12; 119:15, 23, 48, 148).

If you do the same, you will be blessed and you will be protected and preserved in the day of trouble.
